Jacob's 10th week - 14 lbs

Jacob weighs almost 14 lbs. He gained less than a pound this week, but last week's weight was measured just after a 3.5 oz meal so he gained about the average of 7 oz for the week. He has continued to sleep 'though the night' averaging at least 7 hours after his final evening meal, although he continues to struggle with falling asleep initially and he wakes with wet diapers and a bit of fussiness through the night. He smiles very frequently and makes lots of sounds, especially after a meal when he's full and happy (estomago lleno corazon contento).

Jacob at 10 weeks ate 4.8 oz to push his weight over 14 lbs (9/10/09).

Jacob enjoyed a visit to his Great Grandma Eva's house, and he also got to see Grandma Elsa and Great Uncle Joe.

Jacob's Grandpa Ruben and Aunt Julia came into town and stopped in for a visit.

Jacob has long eyelashes like mommy.

At bath time we have to be sure to get into all those wrinkles!
