Jacob's 6th week - 10 lbs 13 oz

Another week, another pound! Jacob is growing so fast!! Yesterday he turned 6 weeks and he weighed in at 10 lbs 13 oz. He ate almost 3 oz at a feeding, which isn't enough to last him two hours. We need to work on larger volume per feeding - he starts out vigorously but frequently falls asleep after 10 or 15 minutes and I need to burp him, change him, and/or tickle his feet to keep him moving along.

Manuel and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary this week. We've been together for 6 years! We went out for dinner alone thanks to Jacob's babysitters, Grandma Elsa, Aunt Socorro & cousin Reyna.

Thanks to my husband for the lovely roses and New England football jersey - now we can both wear our jerseys and watch football games when the season starts!

Manuel is very patient and holds Jacob in the evening while he naps. Jacob sleeps okay alone at night, but during the afternoon and evening he wants to be held!
