Two weeks ago we celebrated Jacob's 1st birthday. On Friday July 2nd, Jacob had some ice cream for dinner and he played with his cake.
And then on Saturday we had a 1st birthday extravaganza here at the house with family and friends.
Last week Jacob had his one year checkup. He's around the 95th percentile for height and weight, at 31" and with a weight of 27 lbs 12 oz. Although he still only had two bottom teeth, he does his best to chew 'real' adult food instead of just swallowing everything. Jacob loves avocado and watermelon, especially when they are chunks he can grab and put into his own mouth! But his two top teeth are peaking out....any time now.
