Earlier this month, daddy was visiting Jacob during lunch at day care. Jacob pooped so much that it squired out of his pants (between the snaps of his jumper), and he got daddy's pants all dirty. Manuel had to go home to shower and to change before returning to work.
Jacob loves his evening meals. He has moved from cereal to his first vegetables of carrots and peas. He really loved the barley cereal, which I had to order online because I couldn't find it in stores:
A bath is required after eating, but Jacob does drink a few more ounces of milk before going to sleep. Jacob is flexing his abs, trying to hold himself up:
Jacob is getting stronger. He sometimes grabs mommy's hair and pulls, or he slaps mommy's chest with this arm when he wants to play or when he's excited. He squirms and pushes himself around. Jacob pulls on his hanging toys in his gym very hard.
Jacob enjoyed his first Christmas surrounded by family.
On Manuel's birthday, December 27th, Jacob was not feeling that great due to teething. Jacob wasn't satisfied to be sitting on mommy's lap, so he turned his head across the living room toward daddy and started making loud noises until daddy picked him up. Jacob's padrinos, tío Armando, tía Anna, and primo Antonio visited with us for a few days to celebrate Manuel's birthday.
